Dogs are welcome in all of Vanpoover's parks. Whilst we encourage you to pick up and dispose of your dogs waste, the shear volume of dog poop means that our urban green spaces are smeared with faeces.
Playing in poop
If a dog defecated a runny poop on your carpet, and you picked it up with a plastic bag, would you go and lie on the carpet without cleaning it? That's what we expect our citizens to do when they sunbathe or picnic in our parks.
Where there are no dog free areas, we encourage citizens to:
- Let their children play in the grass where a dog just pooped
- Sunbathe in the residue of dog faeces
- Have a BBQ surrounded by turds
- Rejoice at the privilege of watching a dog taking a dump right next to you
Not only that, we prefer to ignore the disease risks from playing dog faeces.
